About the DPI Consortium Prior Art Database
The DPI Consortium database stored in Zotero is a collection of documents and materials from innovative companies and academic institutions responsible for the development of deep packet inspection (DPI) technology. The material in this database is organized first by the university or parent company responsible for the material, then by any subsidiaries, and finally by product. The material available through this database covers both current companies using and developing DPI technology and companies that have either been acquired or are no longer operating.
The available material describing DPI research, development, and products was added to the database including technical documents, data sheets, white papers, user manuals, patents, brochures, web pages, and, in some cases, videos, academic journal publications, and thesis manuscripts. When material included in this database evolved over time such as company webpages and updated user manuals, then several available versions were included to demonstrate a holistic view of the progression of technology over time.
The database makes extensive use of the Internet Archive, which holds snapshots of more than 625 billion web pages as they were available at a particular point in time. As a result, the database provides access to prior art material that is no longer directly accessible on current web pages
