Joe Sutherland

Advisory Board Member

Joe Sutherland was President of Dyaptive Systems from 2009 to 2013. Dyaptive Systems define and execute growth strategies for market leadership in the 3G and 4G test segment specializing in wireless simulation systems dedicated to improving network quality for network equipment manufacturers and network operators. Between 2005 and 2008, Joe was President and CEO of Navtel communications. Joe successfully turned-around and re-focused Navtel to become a market leader in the IMS/NGN subscriber and network element simulation segment.

Joe returned Navtel to profitability and negotiated a successful exit with the sale to EXFO in March 2008. After the acquisition, Joe stayed on as Vice President of the Navtel Business Unit in EXFO for a year to ensure that Navtel was successfully integrated into EXFO.

Joe began his career with Nortel Research and has had a long career managing communication companies with a focus on innovation and commercial success.
